Flux-Weakening Control of Linear Induction Motor Drives Considering the Primary Resistance and End Effect

Indirect field-oriented control (IFOC) of a linear induction motor (LIM) drive is an important challenge because the end effect and nonlinear behavior LIM drive. It becomes more complex in high-speed applications flux-weakening (FW) regions when current voltage constraints must be satisfied. Moreover, considering primary resistance constraint inequality makes calculations even complicated. This work presents new FW algorithm for drives, resistance. Consequently, reference d-axis maximum q-axis are modified effect. Accordingly, strategies partial full implemented Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) has been used to overcome achieve appropriate dynamic characteristics. Simulation results validate effectiveness suggested based on FLC different speed regions. Results manifest that with consideration, base critical speeds not constant. As increases, frequency reduces, whereas increases.
